Welcome to my website.

I am a freelance musician, teacher & songwriter/producer based in Manchester, England.

Formally a manager with Bolton Music Service, I trained as a Music Facilitator with Access To Music and have twenty years teaching experience.

As a teacher, I devise and deliver music/cross-arts workshops & projects with a focus on African Drumming, Samba and Bamboo Tamboo. In addition, I teach the music curriculum in a special needs school and deliver whole class African drumming first-access programmes in two primary schools.

I also specialise in writing and recording children’s songs designed mainly for use in SEND and under-take songwriting commissions for schools.

As a consultant and trainer, I devise and deliver a range of training packages for teachers and have worked with organisations such as ALFA Education, One Education, Trinity Guildhall & Edge Hill University. I also advise on schools instruments and provide a repair & maintenance service.

I work with all Key Stages, including SEND & Higher Education.

I am a drummer/percussionist, guitarist & vocalist. I play in several contemporary bands and have a diploma in Music Creation & Production.

I write & record music for education & commercial use. My music has been used in independent films, television & advertising.
